Wednesday Already, Whew!!!

I wish the days wouldn't pass by so quickly. I have been so busy since then, that it seems conference weekend was a long time ago. Today is no different, its already 4:25p. I was so happy to get to go to conference on both Saturday and Sunday AM. It is nice to watch on TV, but it is great to be there in person. The music is incredible. My TV doesn't even touch the wonder of the music that fills the Conference Center. It touches and fills my soul too. I am so thankful for that beautiful music, and it is fun to watch for Bruce and Vivienne. This Sunday we got a full shot of Bruce at the end of a song, it was great. In the afternoons, I watched with Marissa. She was and still is on rest mode.
On Monday they implanted two of the eggs. I was going to post them but Marissa said "NO", isn't that neat though, they took pictures of the embryos and gave them to Marissa & Mason. By the way, I was in trouble for telling you how many eggs, Marissa said that was "too much information". So disregard that info. OK!! Anyway, she is on rest, can't move around only to go to the potty, and she does that as she has to drink lots of liquid. Even Gatorade!!!! That stuff is horrible to me, it would surely kill me if I drank as much as she is and she has drunk gallons of it.
I forget the date when she goes in to test if it is a pregnancy. She still has to take a shot everyday. Then if the procedure takes, and she is pregnant, more shots.
I must admit though that she is taking it all in stride and doing well.
I sat with her yesterday, wellllllll, I wouldn't actually call it sitting. I vacuumed both floors, cleaned two bathrooms and put the old rug downstairs and the new rugs came so I put them upstairs. I was one tired momma. In between, we watched a great movie "Ladies in Lavender". It is an English film, I had seen it before it is quite good if you get a chance to see it. Marissa felt bad because I was doing all the work, I told her not to worry. Oh, the reason I am working is that today the adoption lady comes for a home visit. We were trying to make everything spiffy. Anyway, it is good incentive to get the house in order and clean.
On Tuesday, the carpet men came in and put in the carpet. Last night, the electrician came and finished the electrical work. On Saturday, the trim man ran out of trim so they went to get some more today and hope to finish the trim soon.
After the trim, all that is left is the painting. I am hoping to move in this weekend as Helen comes on Monday the 14th. I have to come to work to rest. Ha!Ha!
For those of you not in the SLC area, it is Apr 9th and this AM was 36 degrees and rain, cloudy and rainy all day, and snow, more snow on the mountains. They are closing some of the ski areas this weekend. Taylor said he may come up next week to go snowboarding. He is in-between projects. Work is going well, and everyone survived conference weekend. It ran smoothly without any major problems. We do have quite a professional crew and I am happy for them.
D&C 101:16 Therefore, let your hearts be comforted concerning Zion; for all flesh is in my hands; be still and know that I am God. Sometimes, life gets so hectic, we need to take a few minutes to be calm and feel the spirit.
Know that I love you,
Zgranee

Thanks for all the juicy detail updates about Marissa. I just talked with her, but your blog had a bit more info. I hope you don't get in trouble again. I was thinking about you as we watched conference and was thinking about all the work that goes into it. We are thankful for people like you that help make it possible. We love and miss you all. Not to brag, but the high today was 77. So, you are welcome to visit whenever!
