Quick Trip Weekend

On Friday about 9AM a friend of mine called me and asked if I would help by escorting a young lady to Iowa. I said yes I would be happy to help. They faxed me an itinerary leaving SLC at 2PM arrive in Cincinnati at 8pm. I arranged for someone to cover the phones for the rest of the day and I was off to the airport. I met the young lady and we were off. When we arrived in Cincinnati, the plane to Iowa was cancelled due to a snowstorm, so we had to stay at a hotel by the airport. Early Saturday morning we were off again to Iowa. We arrived at 9am and I delivered my escortee to her family. They left, and I went to get my new tickets as I was waiting at the airport until 2:50P, when the next plane went to Minneapolis/St.Paul was to arrive. I spent a lot of time pacing and reading the Ensign which i borrowed from work. Finally, it was time to board. Upon arriving in St.Paul, I quickly found the next gate. As I was waiting there a the lady behind the ticket desk approached me and asked if I would like to go to 1st Class. WOW!! would I. So off I went and sat in 1st Class. The dinner was great the seats were soft, and it made the whole trip worth it. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! How was that for a crazy trip. The weather here calls for snow, and more snow. According to the weatherman, UT is up to 100% of its snow in the north and 107% in the south. Which is quite unusual. Guess who is looking forward to spring.

1st class?! How fun. I am glad you had a great quick trip. The twins miss you and we are sorry you are experiencing bad weather...we won't tell you it will be 75 degress here tomorrow! A little chilly, I might have to wear shoes instead of flip-flops!

Holy Smokes, and to think we were having dinner at Spaghetti Mammas just last Saturday night. You sure don't let any moss grow under your feet. Welcome home, and by the way, you're not the only one anxious for spring. No, not at all.

Well at least you got first class, I have never sat in first class (you deserve it). I know you don't like the snow, but it is good for Utah to have those numbers!
